Judy Dyson
Judy Dyson has been a Member since leaving Iffley Academy’s Governing Body in August 2014. During her service as a Governor, she chaired the Teaching and Learning Committee. Judy has 40 years’ experience of working in education, half of that as a secondary teacher and latterly Head of Faculty, and half in a range of Local Authority Adviser roles. Her final 2 years before retirement were in a Senior Adviser role, leading Oxfordshire’s extended services developments through partnerships of schools. Judy trained as an Ofsted inspector and was part of inspection teams in 20 secondary and primary school inspections.
Rob Harvey (Chair)
Rob Harvey served as a parent Governor of Iffley Academy for 5 years until September 2014. During this time, Rob served as Deputy Chair, Chair of the Site Development Committee, and as a member of the Finance and Personnel Committee. Rob has extensive experience gained over many years as a senior manager in Local Government and at the University of Oxford in site, property, and Health and Safety roles.
Dr Annabel Kay
Dr Annabel Kay has been the Chief Executive Officer of The Warriner Multi Academy Trust since 2011 and is Head Teacher of The Warriner School. A highly respected educationalist, Dr Kay combines her experience in industry in areas such as finance, change management and process review, with her education experience. Dr Kay has worked in a variety of senior roles in primary and secondary settings and had a key role in the setting up of the successful Warriner Multi Academy Trust in 2015.
Sian Rodway
Formerly a governor for Iffley Academy, Sian Rodway took on the role of Chair of the Board of Trustees in 2013 and served until 2020. Sian Rodway has a rich and varied background in Education and Children’s Services. Sian has worked in several Local Authorities as a secondary school teacher, Education/Schools Officer, special needs officer and more recently as a third-tier officer/Strategic Lead for Performance at Oxfordshire County Council Children Services Directorate, and Governor Services Manager at Oxfordshire County Council.
Karen Shaw
Karen Shaw served as a Trustee on The Gallery Trust’s Board from 2013 until 2020 and is also a member of Iffley Academy’s Local Academy Board. Karen has an extensive interest and knowledge of SEND, initially generated by her role as a parent of a former pupil of Iffley Academy. Karen has extensive commercial and business experience and has served on several Trust committees.
