Working Together

The Trust is committed to working collaboratively with special schools and believes that by pooling knowledge, resources and support, provision for SEND learners across the county of Oxfordshire will continue to flourish. The Trust believes that the most effective way of supporting this vision is for The Gallery Trust to grow over the next five years into an organisation including converter academies, free schools and sponsored academies. The Trust will encompass schools which meet the needs of all cohorts of SEND pupils, however diverse and complex.

By providing a structure which offers a range of tailored support services, school leaders can focus on the standards of teaching and learning within their own schools. The input of senior leaders across the Trust will be valued, both within the development of their school improvement strategies, as well as in shaping the direction of the Trust. Schools will maintain their own distinct vision, ethos, character, and individuality while subscribing to the values of the Trust.
