Central support and expertise are provided to enable senior leaders to focus on their core priorities – to maintain and enhance the teaching and learning within their schools. The Trust can provide support in:

  • School improvement and development
  • HR and recruitment
  • Finance, audit and risk
  • Procurement and tendering
  • Operations and Legal
  • Marketing and website
  • Leadership and professional development
  • Contracts such as payroll, facilities management etc

Each school is different and discussions will take place regarding the support services required. Services will be bespoke and tailored to meet the needs of the school. A key driver is to reduce back-office and purchasing costs so that services to students can be prioritised. The Trust does not seek a “one size fits all” approach to central services or to the contribution made by schools to the Trust to provide services. The contribution / top slice is proportionate to the needs, means and circumstances of each school and will be agreed during discussions with the school.
